Essays are not respectful of the medical profession. My future profession is a doctor

I bring to your attention an essay by the laureate of the regional essay competition "My future profession- Doctor ", held in May 2014 by the Ministry of Health and Demographic Policy of the Magadan Region.

My future profession is a doctor.

Once, in early childhood, I received the Doctor game as a birthday present. There was everything that a real doctor needs, only a toy: a syringe, a thermometer, cotton wool, a phonendoscope, even a white coat. I imagined myself as a doctor and treated my dolls for all imaginable and inconceivable diseases.

Years passed, and in my life, as in the life of any growing person, a period came when it became necessary to make a very important decision: to choose my future profession. Each person is looking for ways of self-affirmation, first of all, in a profession that he consciously chooses. I had no doubts about this, since I decided for myself a long time ago: I will be a doctor! I am ready with a clear conscience and clean hands to take on this responsible business.

What do I know about my future profession? First of all, a doctor is a person of a high soul, intelligence, a person who is ready to devote himself to serving people. The profession of a doctor is a feat. A doctor has no right to make even a small mistake, so I try to study well.

I know that a doctor is a person outside of time, that he must rush to help at any time of the year, day or night, that he must be brave, courageous, attentive, kind and sensitive towards all patients, without exception. You can continue this list, but I want to say that first of all you need to love people, want to help them, have a calling.

Many people often warn me, tell me about the great difficulties of this profession. I understand it won't be easy. I need to overcome some feelings in myself (for example, fear, excitement). But I can handle it, I'm sure of it!

The calling of a physician requires that he perform his duties in accordance with the voice of conscience. The physician should be calm and confident outwardly and, under all circumstances, maintain inner peace. There may be various events in the doctor's personal life, but when he suits the patient, then it is necessary to think only about him, to be ill with his suffering, to live with the thought of how to quickly and correctly help him. The doctor's calmness and confidence are transferred to the patient and help him to recover.

The doctor needs to be bold. After all, he is the first to go where a destructive epidemic is raging. He should not be afraid to care for such patients, from whom he himself can contract a fatal disease.

An example of this is the image of Yevgeny Bazarov from the novel by IS Turgenev "Fathers and Sons".Bazarov goes to his father, where he begins to treat everyone who needs the help of a doctor. In the end, practicing on a corpse typhoid ill, Eugene cut his finger, got blood poisoning, as a result of which he died.

The future doctor should be patient, understanding, merciful. Patients come across different, but you need to be extremely polite with everyone. The daily work of a doctor is very hard - every day you have to make decisions on which someone's fate depends.

A doctor is a person outside of nationality, outside of politics, outside of time. For a true doctor, there are no good or bad people, rich or poor, honest or criminals. If a MAN needs help, he will receive it, because there will be a DOCTOR in front of him.

The doctor should be able to quickly make a decision and not be afraid to take responsibility for this decision on himself.

I have heard that sometimes doctors' patients die. Of course, it is very difficult when you cannot help a person in any way, it is much harder to realize this when there is a small patient in front of you! Some people say that a doctor must have "steel" nerves, learn to be insensitive ... I do not agree with that! Indeed, sometimes even an affectionate word can become a healing one. Feeling pain, suffering of a person is the highest destiny of a doctor.

Also, the doctor must be inquisitive and hardworking, must constantly expand his knowledge in order to apply modern methods treatment and enjoy the latest discoveries medicine.

Preparing myself for my future profession, I study a lot and diligently, deeply and comprehensively, apart from basic subjects, I study chemistry and biology - without this one cannot become a doctor. I read a lot about this profession, watch movies. But when I watched the television series Interns, I was extremely indignant at the production of the film. Although I know this show is humorous, I thought it was cruel. The doctor cannot, does not have the moral right to be a drinker, ignorant, vulgar, lazy and, what is most terrible, untalented and illiterate! And is it really possible to joke when it comes to human life ?! What a joke here!

I have not yet decided on the choice of a medical specialization, but at the present time I like the specialty of an anesthesiologist.

In one of the books on medicine, I read: “The name of the first outstanding physician of antiquity, Hippocrates, whose knowledge and art of treating people not only saved many lives, but also conditioned the development of medicine, will forever remain in history. The Hippocratic Oath is a medical oath that expresses the fundamental moral and ethical principles of a doctor's behavior, as well as the commonly used name for an oath taken by anyone who is about to become a doctor. The Oath contains 9 ethical principles:
- obligations to teachers, colleagues and students;
-the principle of no harm;
- the obligation to provide assistance to the patient (the principle of mercy);
- the principle of taking care of the patient's benefit and the dominant interests of the patient;
-the principle of respect for life and a negative attitude towards euthanasia;
-the principle of respect for life and negative attitudes towards abortion;
- the obligation to refuse intimate relationships with patients;
- commitment to personal improvement;
- medical secrecy (confidentiality principle) "

I fully share these highly moral principles and will try to always follow them.

We are children of the XXI century. All roads are open before us. And which of them we go - depends only on us. I know who I want to become, I have a purpose in life. I really want to go to a medical school. I will study hard to become a good doctor. My parents support me in my decision, although their life is not connected with medicine: mom is a teacher, dad is a worker.

My future profession is a doctor.
My future profession - a doctor - is the most necessary, the most important for a person. What could be more valuable than life and more essential health? And therefore, a person has no right to be a bad doctor, since it is the doctor who is trusted with the most valuable thing - health. Study in medical school- the process is long, at least 6 years. It is not easy to study from the very first years, and you should calculate your strength in advance. One missed lecture can cost the patient his life in the future - this should not be forgotten for a minute. Responsibility is the main character trait of the future doctor. The subjects will be extraordinarily difficult. The medical student is simply obliged to perfectly understand biology, chemistry. You will not be able to relax. The profession of a doctor is much more complicated than it seems at first glance, and much more interesting. Many represent her only on TV series, but in life everything is not at all like that. The future doctor should be patient, understanding, merciful. Patients come across different, but you need to be extremely polite with everyone. Moreover, the daily work of a doctor is very difficult - every day you have to make decisions on which someone's fate depends. Therefore, it is extremely important to become a real professional. A doctor is pride and responsibility. From the first year, all students are told that every time they put on a white coat, they take on certain obligations. It is not for nothing that since ancient times it has been one of the most prestigious professions... Not everyone can be a doctor. This is truly a calling. This profession is suitable for those who sincerely want to help people who know how to empathize, those who are hard-working. If all these qualities are combined in one person, then he has a chance to become a real Doctor with a capital letter.

As far back as I can remember, I have always dreamed of becoming a doctor. And today I have firmly decided that I will become one. I believe that a doctor is the most necessary and noble profession, doctors are angels on earth. I am ready with great dedication to help people cope with their illnesses, illnesses, and also save their lives.

I am ready to show sensitivity and humanity in relation to people, I will do my best to improve on the path that I have chosen.

My inspiration is the world's doctors who work every day for the benefit of people. And this gives me an impetus every day to learn and develop, never sit still, but only move forward.

An essay on the topic My future profession is a doctor

Medical care is the most needed occupation on the planet. People from ancient times began to study medicine. The human body has remained, not fully understood. Maybe a person can live two hundred years and keep working, or maybe a gene can be introduced into him that will deprive him of absolutely any disease.

I am very interested in medicine and the human body. My dream is to become a doctor and explore all the possibilities of the body. I want to help people. I want to extend the life of my family. The difficulties of the profession do not scare me, and good grades in biology will allow me to become the best doctor in the whole world.

Composition Why I want to become a doctor (reasoning)

Becoming a doctor is more than just making a precise diagnosis. It is not easy to prescribe effective medication. Being a doctor is talking about healing, helping patients feel strong and recovering.

My dream is to become just such a doctor, a doctor who will not be afraid, a doctor who will help people. Any illness is hard to bear, but it is easier when you know that the best doctor is treating you.
I know that medicine requires a lot of knowledge and a lot of time and effort. I know that I will have to study biology, pharmaceuticals, the structure of the body, medicines for a long time. I will have to practice a lot. It will be a difficult time, but I know that I will succeed and I can become an excellent specialist.

Our life is very fleeting, the body grows old and loses strength, something at a certain age becomes irrelevant. Therefore, I want to learn how to stop time and prolong human life. I want to invent a cure for many incurable diseases, I want to help people become happy. And people can become happy only when they are healthy.

I know that now the profession of a doctor is in great demand, but I also know that in our country, doctors are specialists who receive a small wages, but must work all day. The doctor has no days off or holidays. The doctor is always in touch and must always help his patients. I understand this and want to provide such assistance to people. And if I study well and become a competent doctor, then I will have no problems with the financial part of my life.

I understand the full responsibility of this profession and I want to develop in this direction. I hope that everything will work out for me and my efforts will be appreciated. And the benefits from my profession will be enormous.

An essay on the topic The profession of my dreams is a doctor

As far back as I can remember, I have always dreamed of becoming a doctor. And I am sure that over the years my dream will not fade away, but, on the contrary, will come true. Probably, this desire to help and heal people was passed on to me from my grandmother. Tamara Ivanovna, that's the name of my grandmother, a doctor from God. All her life she worked in a children's hospital and helped children cope with diseases. I've always thought it was wonderful to be useful and needed. Therefore, definitely, the profession of my dreams is a doctor.

When I graduate from school, I want to go to medical school. I am interested in two directions. The first is to be a pediatrician, like a grandmother, and the second is to connect your life with surgery. It may seem that these two profiles are completely different, but at the moment they are both interesting to me. As for pediatrics, what a happiness it is to save the lives and health of children. There are so many diseases in the modern world that every year become more stable and more dangerous. But thanks to doctors, people manage to overcome the disease and become healthy. I know from myself how unpleasant it is to get sick, even if you have a common cold. The head hurts, the throat is sore, runny nose, cough. At such moments, you feel overwhelmed and helpless. However, a good doctor will quickly make the correct diagnosis and alleviate the patient's condition.

About the second profile, namely surgery, I had thoughts quite recently. It seems to me very prestigious to work in a good clinic. But in addition to prestige, this is very responsible. Every day, surgeons perform many operations and help people get back on their feet. I think this profession is interesting and useful.

Maybe after finishing school I will want to choose another direction, but one thing I know for sure, that I will link my life with medicine. I want to be useful to people, help and be needed. Moreover, if the work gives pleasure, then its quality will be at its best. I will be glad to see the happy and grateful faces of people from the fact that I have cured them.

Option 5

There are a sufficient number of professions that are popular and in demand. Many are attracted by the financial benefits that come with a big salary. In my opinion, there is no more worthy occupation for modern man than to treat people.

At all times, the profession of a doctor allowed a person to fully realize his concern for his neighbor. In this work, it is not only the end result that is attractive - a complete recovery of the patient and deliverance from his suffering. The very communication with by different people analysis of their problems, which led to the appearance of an unpleasant pathology, will allow to gain a lot of not only professional, but also personal experience... The ability to find a common language with representatives of different strata of society, the application of their knowledge in practical conditions make the profession of a doctor the most interesting of all existing ones.

Doctors are always needed

During economic and political crises, intelligent medical worker will always have his legal piece of bread, because the doctor's "golden hands" and "bright head" will always be in demand. After all, people get sick all year round so the doctor has no prospect of being unemployed.

Continuous improvement

Activities in the field of medicine provide for the constant improvement of the level of professional qualifications. In this work, one cannot "rest on our laurels." All kinds of certifications and scientific work will allow you to maintain flexibility of mind until a ripe old age, adopting the advanced methods of treating patients.

Famous doctors

At different times, doctors were the thinker Nikolai Copernicus, the predictor Nostradamus, the great Russian writer Mikhail Bulgakov, the singer Alexander Rosenbaum, the satirist Grigory Gorin, the TV presenter Yana Rudkovskaya and many others. famous personalities... Probably, this profession has such an impact on a person that his creative talent cannot remain within the narrow framework of medicine.

Give health

Giving health to a person is very honorable. Good doctors are recognized and respected in the community. It is enough to be an ordinary doctor in a small town for several years to become part of the local elite.

It's nice when you are respected and considered irreplaceable. This is how the representatives of many specialties of the medical art feel who have made breakthroughs in the fields of medicine in which they worked. Being a doctor means dedicating your whole life to finding ways to make a person happier. After all, the greatest asset of every inhabitant of the planet is good health.

Each person in his life sooner or later faces a choice. As difficult as it may seem, people have to choose. Since childhood, we dreamed of becoming adults, going to work like our parents. But childhood passes and the time comes to seriously think: "What do I want to become?" At school this year we have a new subject - career guidance courses, where we are taught about different professions and we solve tests to determine our professional inclinations. All my peers, classmates, and myself began to think about who we want to become in the future, what profession we would like to have. Adults often ask us about this. But the answer turns out to be not so easy. Thinking for a long time, I decided to become a nurse. What attracted me to this profession?

First, I want to help people. When you are in the hospital, there is always a lack of warmth, affectionate words. The nurse is more with the sick than the doctor, and she can comfort the sick.

Secondly, it will come in handy for me in my life. When I have a family, children, I will be able to provide them with the most basic medical care. I will be able to professionally look after my elderly parents. Yes, while they are young and quite healthy, but whether we like it or not, they will grow old in due time and diseases will come to them. I was already convinced of this: my paternal grandmother Daria died three years ago after a heart attack, although outwardly nothing foreshadowed trouble. If someone in the family had a medical education and provided her with professional assistance, it is quite possible that she would be alive now and rejoice with us in our successes. My second grandmother Liza, on the maternal side, lives in the regional center and in Lately suffers from high blood pressure. When she is ill, I have to go to my grandmother to spend the night. And sometimes in the middle of the night she gets very bad - I have to wake up my neighbor Aunt Lucy and call for help, since she is a nurse. Now I’ll learn, I’ll return to my native area to work as a nurse and I will help not only my grandmother, but all my friends and strangers too.

I believe that a nurse is one of the noblest professions. She should always be kind and merciful, because the work she is engaged in relieves the suffering of the patient. People always have a special relationship with medical workers, they value and respect them.

I also think: in the work of a nurse, I am attracted by communication with people. After all, every day I will learn more and more, I will participate more in their fate, if only because they trusted me with their health and life. Nurse, in my opinion, is the most interesting, necessary and important profession... When I feel that I have to do something useful for people, then I understand that someone needs me, which means that I am not living in vain.

When does a person begin to realize himself not just as a separate person, but as a part of society? Psychologists believe that this happens during adolescence. It is in this period of our life that we begin to think about our future profession. We decide what we are ready to devote ourselves to. And I believe that this is one of the most difficult decisions that a person makes in his life.

We spend most of our time at work. And therefore, it is extremely important to understand what really brings you pleasure, in what field of activity you see yourself as successful, what you want to strive for and what to achieve no matter what. And honestly answer these questions to yourself. Not listening to stereotypes about which specialty is the most prestigious and highest paid. Yes, high status and big earnings are great. But you need to go to your work with a smile, and if you do not like what you are doing and when you remember on Monday morning, where you have to go today, you have a desire to throw yourself out the window, then this will not lead to anything good. Only to disappointment and regret. And it’s very scary to realize at the very end that life was not lived the way you wanted. Therefore, listen to your heart, as you know, it will not deceive.

I have decided on a profession. I want to become a doctor . I want to help people. Physician is a very ancient and noble profession. The names of the first outstanding doctors of antiquity - Hippocrates, Asclepius, whose knowledge and art of healing people saved many lives and determined the development of medicine - will forever remain in history. To this day, all doctors take the Hippocratic Oath, which contains the following words: "Whatever house I enter, I will enter there for the benefit of the patient."

My family is closely related to medicine. But that was not what made my decision. My mother is a nurse by profession, my father is an infectious diseases doctor, my grandfather is a general practitioner by profession. He is already 82 years old. He lives in a small town and still works in a local hospital. All young people leave for large cities to work. And there is no one to work in the hospital. To the question: "Is grandfather going to retire?" He replies: "As long as I work, I live." I often visited him at work. I am always met there with joy that I am the granddaughter of such a grandfather, patients and employees love him very much and say that they do not know what they would do without him. And I cannot express how proud I am of him and his dedication. And I want to wish everyone that they also love their work.

Usually they say that a doctor is not a job - it is a vocation. The doctor does not stop his work even for a minute. Wherever he is and whatever happens around, if someone needs medical help, the doctor will certainly provide it. The integral qualities of a doctor are love for people, compassion, a sincere desire to help, kindness, disinterestedness and selflessness. The doctor must have a strong character, firmness and unshakable spirit. Do not be afraid of the word "difficulty". And even forget him. Think first of all about the patient, about how to save his life and alleviate suffering, and only last about yourself.

During wartime, doctors showed remarkable heroism. Many gave their lives helping the victims. Despite enemy fire, doctors and young nurses risked their lives to sneak onto the battlefield and carry away the wounded soldiers. And doctors, under the sound of flying bullets, performed the most complex operations. Military doctors made a huge contribution to medicine, N.I. Pirogov became the creator of military surgery and the founder of anesthesia. The war claimed millions of lives, but thanks to such incredible courage and self-sacrifice of doctors, many were saved. Thanks to the doctors, some sons, fathers, husbands were able to return home.

Another no less significant quality can be attributed to the fact that a medical worker must instill in the patient the confidence to recover. Indeed, for a seriously ill person, a doctor is his last hope. And the doctor must do everything possible and impossible in order to justify his hope. The patient trusts the doctor with his life. And from here it becomes clear how serious and responsible this profession is. Medicine abhors mistakes. An accidental oversight can lead to irreparable consequences.

Therefore, a doctor must be very responsible, accurate and make great demands on himself, have vast knowledge in medicine and high qualifications. And despite this, to constantly improve, replenish their knowledge base, seek and learn new methods of treatment. The medical profession has been trained for many more years than any other. The term of study in universities is 5-6 years, but after graduation, one diploma is not enough for graduates. First, you need to unlearn 2 years of internship, after which you can enter the residency if you wish. For example, to become a neurosurgeon, you have to take an internship in surgery and then complete a residency in neurosurgery. Also, the doctor takes refresher courses every 5 years. Plus, it is extremely difficult to enter a medical institute and the passing score is growing every year. And if the first stage - admission is passed, you should not think that all the difficulties are over. The training in medical school itself is incredibly difficult.

But I really want it. Most importantly, I have set a goal for myself and will persist in pursuing it. And now I am diligently preparing for admission, doing biology and chemistry with a tutor. I also do it on my own, because you always need to rely only on yourself. Because I firmly decided for myself that I want to become a doctor and no one else.

A doctor for me is a kind of magician who sheds light on people's lives and gives hope and faith to those who have already despaired. It raises disabled people to their feet, makes them believe in themselves, tell everyone around: "Look, I am deprived of what you have, but I continue to live and enjoy life!" The doctor gives sight to the blind, removing the black veil from the eyes and letting them see how wonderful the world is. Cardiac surgeons cure such a terrible disease - congenital heart disease, make it possible to live without pain, without loss of consciousness, with the ability to breathe normally and just run, it would seem such a trifle for us, but someone is not able to take advantage of this trifle.

Over time, a person working in medicine partially changes their worldview. The usual things start to seem important. And you begin to realize that you should be happy only from the fact that nothing hurts you.

Each of us is born for a reason and lives in this world. Each carries meaning. And it can change something. Even if not the whole world, this is not given to everyone. And even if only a small particle. Bring goodness to what surrounds you. Get in touch with someone's life and help change it, and maybe even save it.
