Choosing a profession is a task with many unknowns. The problem of choosing a professional and life path arises before a person at an age when he is not fully aware of all the remote consequences of decision-making associated with labor activity, social advancement, material well-being and spiritual development. The first, very important and independent decision has to be made, relying not on life experience that comes over the years, but rather on the idea of your future and the future of the society in which you will live. At the same time, designing a professional path is the basis of a person's self-affirmation in society, one of the main decisions in life that determines who to be, to what social group belong, where and with whom to work, what lifestyle to define.
The initial stage of professional self-determination in a person is formed at an early age, being surrounded by a family. Looking at his parents, the child subconsciously analyzes their profession, activity, at the simplest level: a doctor treats, a builder builds. This is the initial understanding of the world of professions.
The next stage is laid in the child when he gets into society, namely into the society of his peers, who have the same primitive idea. In the course of communication, everyone shares information about the profession of their parents. The child's outlook is expanding, and he already has a more complete understanding: a doctor treats a person, a veterinarian treats animals.
School is the stage where the understanding of the profession deepens, becomes more complex, expands, i.e. become more complete and understandable. This usually happens in high school. By the end of the 11th grade, each child has enough information about the professions and, perhaps, the most difficult and responsible moment comes when you need to decide who you want to be? To do this, you need to analyze your personality, which I would like to talk about ...

About who I want to become, I, like many, began to think back in primary school... Dreams of a future profession for young schoolchildren come down to a small list of the most famous and, in my opinion, insane interesting professions: doctor, astronaut, policeman, veterinarian. The last profession was my first childhood dream. Apparently, love for animals and a desire to help them prompted me to make this choice.
I thought about this:
It would be nice to be a doctor.
But not for children, but for cats.
It hurts children - we will cry

He's a stray. He is nobody's.
By going to high school, the desire to help animals grew into a desire to help people, and my choice fell on the profession of a doctor. In order to make sure of the correctness of my choice, I spent research work by professional self-determination.

From school subjects I really love chemistry and biology. These items come easily to me. I devote more time to them, I try to thoroughly study each topic and Additional information.
Studying the websites of medical universities, I learned that subjects such as chemistry, biology, Russian are taken into account for admission, which means that the requirements of the university coincide with my preferences.
For me, the opinion of parents plays a significant role in choosing a profession. We did not have any disagreements with them, since they fully approve of my choice.
In the lesson of the course "Fundamentals of professional self-determination" diagnostic work was carried out to study professional inclinations. The following parameters were presented for the study:

The diagnostic results showed that I have a tendency to work with people, and this corresponds to the work of a doctor.

For example, after thinking long enough, I have already made my choice and decided to become a doctor in the future. Probably, most of the girls from childhood wanted to become a doctor or teacher, but these were childhood dreams, and over time, outlook on life changed and dreams of the profession of a doctor disappeared. But I decided to become a doctor completely and irrevocably.
The profession of a doctor is a very noble and responsible business, since the health and sometimes the lives of people depend on the doctor. People believe that the doctor will definitely help them in any case, and having received an injection or other help, they will definitely get better. But in order to be really a real doctor, you need to study well, because the result of my help will depend on how well I know what I have to do as a doctor. One pill or one wrong injection can ruin not only my future, but also people's faith in the help of doctors.

Another reason why I chose the profession of a doctor as my future profession is the opportunity to reveal my talents and embody all my aspirations in my work. Each of us is naturally endowed with some kind of talent. Medicine is a craft, science and art. But if science can be studied, and craft can be obtained through experience, then medicine can only be made art by a talented person. In addition, I have a desire to try my hand and contribute to the fight against deadly diseases. After all, you can name many talented doctors who were able to defeat diseases and invent medicines for diseases that were previously considered incurable.

I think this is the most important thing. There is nothing better than getting up every morning and enjoying the fact that you go to work. My profession should bring me joy. A person who loves his profession becomes a professional, an expert in his field. A job that you really enjoy, no matter how it gets paid, is an essential ingredient to being successful in life. However, the need to make a living should be considered. Even the most amazing work will not bring us complete satisfaction if we are hungry. In addition, there is a very actual problem unemployment: you need to choose a profession so that later you can find a job.
I'm in eighth grade. Very soon I will be fifteen years old. I think that I am one of those people who have already found their calling, and now I just need to purposefully study so that, as one of the greats said, “turn the diamond of my capabilities into a diamond of achievements sparkling with facets”. The main thing is not to be afraid of the difficulties that may arise on my way. I didn't say who I want to be? My dream is to become a “sorceress in a white coat”.
Once, in early childhood, I received the Doctor game as a birthday present. There was everything that a real doctor needs, only a toy: a syringe, a thermometer, cotton wool, a phonendoscope, even a white coat. I imagined myself as a doctor and treated my dolls for all imaginable and inconceivable diseases. Many years have passed since then, but I have not lost interest in medicine. In addition to childhood impressions of playing doctor, I have a vivid example of a "doctor with a capital letter" - this is my aunt - Nina Andreevna Klimenko. For over forty years she has been working as a dental surgeon, being at the same time the head of the department. For her many years of work, she has government awards and at least
an important gratitude from their patients - "People's Doctor of the Year". Your knowledge and practical experience my aunt is happy to pass it on to the students of the Vologda Medical College. I also love to hear her stories about her work, how she prescribes treatment courses, communicates with patients, listening attentively to their complaints. What do I know about my future profession? First of all, a doctor is a person of a high soul, intelligence, a person who is ready to devote himself to serving people. The profession of a doctor is a feat. A doctor has no right to make even a small mistake, so I try to study well. The doctor needs to be bold. After all, he is the first to go where a destructive epidemic is raging. He should not be afraid to care for such patients, from whom he himself can contract a fatal disease. An example of this is the image of Yevgeny Bazarov from the novel by IS Turgenev "Fathers and Sons". Bazarov goes to his father, where he begins to treat everyone who needs the help of a doctor. As a result, while practicing on the corpse of a typhoid patient, Yevgeny injured his finger, got blood poisoning, as a result of which he died. The future doctor should be patient, understanding, merciful. Patients come across different, but you need to be extremely polite with everyone. The daily work of a doctor is very hard - every day you have to make decisions on which someone's fate depends. The doctor should be able to quickly make a decision and not be afraid to take responsibility for this decision on himself. Also, the doctor must be inquisitive and hardworking, must constantly expand his knowledge in order to apply modern methods treatment and enjoy the latest discoveries medicine.
Many people often warn me, tell me about the multiple difficulties of this profession. I understand it won't be easy. I need to overcome some feelings in myself (for example, fear and anxiety). But I can handle it, I'm sure of it!
Preparing myself for my future profession, I study a lot and diligently, I study deeply and comprehensively, apart from the main subjects: chemistry and biology - without this one cannot become a doctor. I read a lot about this profession, and medical reference books and books about doctors have already appeared on my shelf. We are children of the twenty-first century. All roads are open before us. And which of them we go - depends only on us. I know who I want to become, I have a purpose in life. I really want to enter a medical university. I will study hard to become a good doctor. My parents support me in my decision, although their life is not related to medicine: mom is a teacher, and dad works at a factory and is actively involved in sports. With their support, I will be able to overcome all the obstacles in my path, because the profession of a doctor is worth it. Doctors give patients a second life. After all, it is they who treat us, helping to get rid of various ailments, and it is they who make people happy. Happiness ... and what is it? Everyone associates happiness in their own way. And I think that the most important happiness for a person is his health. After all, health is priceless, you cannot buy it for any money. Therefore, it must be protected and monitored. And our doctors, our "magicians in white coats", who will lend a helping hand at the right time and help us get rid of physical ailments, help us in this. That is why I want to become such a "sorceress" to give people happiness! And let this quatrain serve as a confirmation of my words:
